IGIS Asset Management, in partnership with Samsung Electronics and Samwoo Architects, has launched a significant step forward in the Future Space Platform by signing a joint development MOU last year. On the 23rd, IGIS Asset Management, IGIS Value REITs, and Samwoo Architects signed a design contract for the first project utilizing this platform.

Based on nearly a year of proof-of-concept analysis, Taepyeongno Building, IGIS Value REITs' flagship asset, was chosen as the first asset for the project. The collaboration between Samwoo Architects and Samsung Electronics marks the first step towards commercializing the Future Space Platform (FIT Platform) by integrating next-gen ICT and AI technologies.

The FIT Platform aims to enhance space productivity and comfort for users while incorporating smartXgreen building technologies designed to achieve net-zero carbon targets. The system includes a modular space construction system and user-centric device control systems to adapt office environments to ever-evolving needs, surpassing the limitations of traditional fixed spaces. The first project is expected to set a benchmark for smartXgreen office spaces. The FIT Platform has already won a 2024 iF Design Award in the Product category, one of the world's top three design awards (iF, RedDot, IDEA).

Yoon Jeong-gyu, CEO of IGIS Value REITs, added, "Once the Taepyeongno Building remodeling is complete, it will become a benchmark asset in the domestic real estate market, setting the Flight-to-Quality standard. Collaborating with Samwoo Architects and Samsung Electronics to apply smartXgreen building technologies in the city's heart will allow us to demonstrate a next-level ESG operational strategy."
