SEOUL, July 15, 2026 — IGIS Asset Management has completed an 80MW hyperscale data center in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The project marks IGIS's second large-scale data center completion following its Hanam facility, further demonstrating the firm's capabilities as a digital infrastructure investment manager.

The company said the Samsong Data Center, developed in the Samsong district of Deogyang-gu, Goyang, has received occupancy approval. The facility comprises five above-ground floors and two basement levels, with a gross floor area of 78,290.11 sqm and 80MW of utility power capacity. It is the largest data center in the northwestern Seoul Metropolitan Area.

The completion extends the development track record IGIS established with its Hanam data center. Through that project, IGIS became the first Korean asset manager to take a data center through its full life cycle — from land acquisition and permitting through development, operation and sale.

LG CNS serves as operator of the Samsong Data Center. Holding a domestic credit rating of AA with a stable outlook, LG CNS is Korea's leading provider of data center design, construction and operation services, and currently runs facilities including its global cloud data centers in Busan, Sangam and Gasan. IGIS and LG CNS previously worked together on the Hanam data center, making Samsong their second collaboration.

The Samsong Data Center is also strategically located within the Seoul Metropolitan Area. Jichuk Station on Seoul Subway Line 3 is nearby, and Tongil-ro and the Seoul Ring Expressway provide strong regional access. Hanwha Corporation E&C Division, whose data center track record includes Samsung SDS's Dongtan facility and Kakao's Ansan data center, served as main contractor. The project is targeting LEED Gold certification by October 2026.

IGIS is the only Korean asset manager to have completed at least two hyperscale data centers. It currently has further data center developments under way across the Seoul Metropolitan Area and the Busan region, and is targeting a digital infrastructure portfolio totaling 520MW and KRW 13 trillion in assets under management by 2031.
