IGIS Asset Management Co., Ltd. announced on July 7 that it has published its second sustainability report containing its 2024 ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance.

The report was published to strengthen sustainable management and continue transparent communication with stakeholders.

A key achievement highlighted in this year's report is the significant improvement in greenhouse gas emissions data accuracy.

IGIS Asset Management excluded statistics-based estimates and secured actual energy usage data, raising the actual energy data collection rate to 80%, an increase of 11 percentage points from 2023. This enabled precise calculation and disclosure of greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 3) from domestic fund real assets. The company also received third-party verification from Lloyd's Register, a global verification and assessment organization.

The company also disclosed the environmental credentials of its investment portfolio. As of the end of last year, approximately 43% of domestic real assets included in funds held green certifications such as LEED, G-SEED, and energy efficiency ratings. Additionally, tenants with green lease agreements occupied approximately 51% of domestic fund real assets.

In the GRESB assessment, all four participating assets achieved the highest rating of 5-Star, with Autoway Tower notably achieving first place in the Asia office sector.

The company also disclosed its renewable energy investment status. With a total renewable energy capacity of 185MW, it produced 156,000MWh of solar power and 50,000MWh from hydrogen fuel cells last year.

IGIS Asset Management further strengthened its human rights management by conducting a human rights risk assessment in April last year. Following human rights management principles that reflect the UNGC's 10 principles, the company is improving its management system in four areas: human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.

Improvements were also made in terms of employee diversity. The proportion of women in new hires last year reached 38%, an increase of 10 percentage points from the previous year. The company operates systems to support the settlement and growth of female talent within the organization, including parental leave, reduced working hours for childcare, and workplace daycare center services.

The report was prepared in accordance with international standards including 'GRI Standards 2021', as well as 'SASB', 'IFRS S2 (TCFD)', 'UNGC', and 'UN SDGs'. Reliability was ensured through third-party verification by BSI Group Korea. The report is available on the IGIS Asset Management website.
